It looks like Cuirinia caught wind of what we've been up to. It must be the Vampires who found out about it……. I wonder if that's the reason for the recent turn of events? Cuirinia has stepped up the pace of collecting souls. More and more travelers are falling victim to her.
Vanquishing Cuirinia is our priority but first we must save the victims here. Cuirinia is collecting the souls through a curse. When a victim suffers a mortal wound by one of Cuirinia's monsters, instead of dying immediately the victim's soul is gradually sucked out. And that soul ends up in the clutches of Cuirinia, Ferguson says.
The only way to stop the soul from seeping out is to revive the victim before he or she dies completely. But that is impossible, even with the powers of the Elementals here in Ellore. They can only slow down the process.
