Terms for the game server, WCoins, Stripe payments, digital services and potential server closure.
For digital game and server services
Mandatory consumer rights remain in force regardless of these terms.
These General Terms and Conditions apply to riseoflegends.net, the Rise of Legends game server, the launcher, and optional paid digital benefits including WCoins. The contract is with the operator identified on this page. The server rules, privacy notice and refund policy also apply. Mandatory law takes precedence.
The game is generally free to play. Separate paid digital benefits are optional. Account details must be accurate, and access credentials must be kept secure. Selling or transferring accounts requires the operator's authorization.
Rise of Legends is a privately operated online game project. Features, balancing, events and technical requirements may change. Continuous availability is not promised. Maintenance and temporary outages may occur, subject to contractual obligations and mandatory consumer rights.
WCoins are account-bound virtual entitlements used for eligible game content or digital services. They are not legal currency, electronic money, an investment, or a claim to a cash value outside the game. Cash payouts and transfers are not provided unless expressly offered or required by applicable law.
The applicable price, amount of WCoins and product information are displayed before ordering. Payments are processed by Stripe. The transaction is completed following the payment confirmation. Delivery of digital credits may take additional processing time. Checkout information and applicable legal disclosures take precedence.
WCoins are credited to the specified game account after payment verification. A WCoin purchase does not confer ownership of the game server or its systems. Statutory remedies apply to missing, defective or incorrectly supplied digital content or services.
Consumers retain all statutory cancellation and withdrawal rights. For digital content not supplied on a tangible medium, withdrawal rights may be lost only when the relevant statutory conditions are met, including express consent to early performance, acknowledgment of the resulting loss of withdrawal rights and the legally required confirmation. Payment or acceptance of these terms alone does not remove withdrawal rights.
Subject to mandatory legal rights, no voluntary refund, conversion or cash payout is offered for properly delivered and used WCoins or where a player simply decides to stop playing. Rights arising from non-delivery, double charges, defects or other applicable laws remain unaffected.
The operator may discontinue the project permanently for legitimate technical, economic, legal or organizational reasons insofar as permitted by law. Continued operation is not guaranteed. Properly delivered and consumed WCoins do not carry a voluntary refund promise upon closure. Any unused paid credits or unperformed paid services will be assessed in accordance with the contract and mandatory law. This clause does not exclude any statutory refund, warranty or damages rights.
Virtual items, characters, levels and inventories are parts of the game system, not independently redeemable cash assets. Gameplay may be adjusted for balancing or maintenance as legally permitted. Statutory rights regarding purchased digital content remain protected.
Cheating, botting, exploiting, fraud, technical attacks and rule violations are prohibited. Proportionate restrictions up to suspension may apply. Suspending an account does not automatically remove statutory rights attached to earlier purchases.
The operator remains liable as required by mandatory law. Limitations do not apply to intentional misconduct, gross negligence, personal injury or other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Mandatory consumer protection remains unaffected.
Accounts and virtual benefits do not transfer copyrights, trademarks or ownership of code, software, graphics or the platform. Third-party brands and protected works remain the property of their respective owners. Rise of Legends is an independent fan project unless stated otherwise.
Personal data is processed in line with the privacy notice. Reasonable security checks and logs may be used to protect the services. Stripe processes relevant payment information under its applicable policies.
Updates generally apply to future transactions. Existing contracts may only be changed through a valid agreement or as allowed by applicable law. Significant changes will be appropriately communicated. Statutory rights remain unaffected.
Austrian law applies insofar as legally permissible. Mandatory protections of the consumer's habitual-residence country and mandatory jurisdictions remain unaffected. Complaints may be submitted through the official support channels.
