False Charges and the Truth

Dolce, the son of Bulkan, has been accused of theft and arrested by Goldbeard. He's a merchant, so I'm sure he'll release Dolce if you give him something valuable, and I know something he wants. There's a tomb of the ancients southwest of Tullan. There's a Broken Coffin there with an Ancient Perfume inside. I hear the perfume gives off a scent incomparable to anything in the world. I'm sure Goldilocks will like it. Take the Perfume to Caravan Goldilocks southwest of the city.

Goldbeard is brutal to those who steal his things. Sometimes he privately executes them or sells them as slaves to foreign ships. Of course, I trust Dolce didn't steal anything, but this is our only choice since we can't prove his innocence. Find the Ancient Perfume from the Broken Coffin southwest of Tullan and deliver it to Blacksmith Goldbeard southwest of the city.

Oh, this smells amazing! It's definitely the Ancient Perfume! Where did you find it? What? You're giving it to me? But I'm a merchant, I know nothing in this world is free. Tell me what you want in return. Hmm, so you think Dolce is innocent and he should be released. I'll think about it. As a merchant, I always have to consider if something's profitable.
