Now that I have the Ring of Protection, I only need a scroll to start the Magic Square.
I wanted to be prepared for something like this so I gave the scroll to Safe Keeper Sharad.
I think that's why the thieves tried a couple of times to steal Sharad's Safes. We were lucky that they didn't find the scroll.
