I'm sure you've heard the names Carl, Hart, and Sirenen?
Huoh. You haven't. This is a surprise that someone as renowned as you are don't yet know of those names.
Then let me tell you about them. It has recently become fashionable for Human, Orc and MoonElf youths to go on a journey together as a tribute to the adventure Zian and Ugdrasil had in the Windrill Desert a long ago. And the most famous of them all were those three youths I mentioned.
Sigh. Yes. There is a reason why I am referring to them in the past tense. All three youths were cruelly murdered a week ago. It was fortunate that their bodies were found before the desert scavengers got to them.
But there is much talk about who the culprit is. Currently, all three races want someone to get to the bottom of the murders of those young heroes. And the family of Carl, the Human, has asked me to be their proxy and find out the truth. They promised me complete authority and unlimited expenses, but it is difficult to find someone good who can work with me.
