About Collecting

All monsters that exist on the Chantra continent turn into individual elements by the power of the Elementals when they die. But we can use our Collecting Skill to obtain useful parts before that happens. You can either sell them to merchants or process them using alchemy or cooking skills. All this is made possible by the protection of the Elementals.
The Collecting Skill is the basis of all productive activities and can be learned from adventurers. To learn this skill you must first have a <HFFFA7272>Gathering Knife<HFFFFFFFF>. Go and get one from <HFFFA7272>Merchant Giridium in Southeastern Norine<HFFFFFFFF>, now.

You must have a Gathering Knife in your Inventory to collect something. So go and get a <HFFFA7272>Gathering Knife<HFFFFFFFF> from <HFFFA7272>Merchant Giridium in the Southeastern area of the Village<HFFFFFFFF>.

Great, you've got it! Now, you just need to learn how to use the skill. Please visit Merchant Giridium in the East of Norine. I get a feeling that he might ask you to do something!
