About Collecting

All monsters that exist on the Chantra continent turn into individual elements by the power of the Elementals when they die. But we can use our Collecting Skill to gather useful parts before that happens. You can either sell them to merchants or process them using alchemy or cooking skills. All this is made possible by the protection of the Elementals.
Collecting Skill is the basis of all productive activities and can be learned from adventurers. To learn this skill you must first have a <HFFFA7272>Gathering Knife<HFFFFFFFF>. Go and get one from <HFFFA7272>Handlarz Darryl in the Center of the Village<HFFFFFFFF>, now.

If you don't' have a Gathering Knife, you won't be able to craft. You must have one in your inventory. So buy a knife from the Handlarz Darryl in the center of the village.

Great, you've got it! Now, you just need to learn how to use the skills. Visit Adventurer Kauman in the center of the village. I get a feeling that he might ask you to do something!
