And even if we didn't have this tombstone piece, there is a reason why we must believe that Usus is dead. It is said that he had acquired a great hoard of treasures to expand his influence. His hoard is vast, apparently even greater than what the king has in his royal treasury.
The king does desire those treasures, but he feels that should Usus still be alive, he may use them to pose a threat. I don't know how I should say this, but the king is actually in fear of Usus.
Anyway, since his death is confirmed the king will soon claim his treasures. Then we must hurry. Before others take an interest in them.
