They suddenly appeared out of nowhere to overpower me and took the map. I only had a glimpse of them before I lost consciousness, but they looked like mercenaries.
I don't know if the bandits had put on a disguise, but from my years of experience I am sure that they were the real ones.
Not that there is any way I can prove it, however. It's just my gut feeling.

But if they really were mercenaries, there is a way to identify them. Security Chief Koop knows every mercenary around here like the back of his hand. But he is a greedy fellow and I doubt he will part with the information without anything in return.
