Goldstock's Accident

I've seen a lot of cons in my years as a safe keeper, but I've got a real problem right now. A while ago a traveler deposited an item with me and then went on his way. Nothing out of the ordinary. But now some thieves are threatening me, asking me for whatever he deposited. They say they've killed the traveler and showed me his ring as proof. It's a memorable ring. Big opal on it. I'm sure he'd never give it up. Of course I refused at first. Have to keep up my professional reputation. But they'll be back, and they'll kill me if I stand in their way again. To be honest, I'd give them the item, but I don't have the key I need. As usual, I gave the key to the traveler. The thieves said some monsters took the key. They want me to break open the safe. I can't do that. Can you search for the key? If monsters really did take it, a traveler like you should be able to find it. Nobody will think of me as a thief if I do this, so don't be afraid of having any troubles in the future. Just find the Traveler's Safe Key after destroying the Duriven Rechercherers at The Span.

You brought it! Give it to me. I'll remove the Objet he deposited from my safe since he really died.
